How the match works

  1. You request the match in Disney's portal. About 5 minutes.
  2. We confirm the information with Disney.
  3. Disney approves and doubles your gift to illuminate. </aside>

Before you begin, have your gift amount and date ready. You can find them in your giving history or email us. Only gifts from the last 12 months can be matched.

Step by step

  1. Open the Disney VoluntEARS portal and sign in with your Disney credentials.

  2. In the top menu, click "Matching Gifts."

  3. Click "Search for an organization."

  4. Type "illuminate church" in the Organization box and click "Search."

  5. Click "Select" next to Illuminate Church Inc. Make sure it's the one at 7899 Sinclair Rd, Kissimmee, FL 34747 (Tax ID 45-5452880). It should be the first result. Other churches with similar names will show a "Nominate" button. Those are not connected to our church.

  6. Fill in the match request form.

    1. Personal Donation Amount: the amount you gave.
    2. Personal Donation Date: the date illuminate received your gift.
    3. Personal Donation Payment Method: how you gave (for example, credit card).
    4. Match Amount Requested: usually the same as your donation amount (minimum $25).
    5. Designation: Optional. You can leave it blank.
    6. Do you have a gift receipt for this donation? If you don't have one handy, select "No." illuminate confirms your gift directly with Disney.
    7. Check "I have read and agree to the terms" and click "Save and Proceed."

  7. Review your information and click "Submit." Double check everything first. You can't edit a request after it's submitted, and clicking "Return to Home Page" on this screen cancels it.

  8. You're done! You'll see "Submission Successful" and receive a confirmation email. Our team will also receive a notification and continue the process after that. </aside>
